SCHUBERT Maestro Conductor: Álvaro Albiach Solista Soloist: David Alonso (Saxofone Saxophone) Apoio: Teatro das Figuras O FIMA 2017 – Festival Internacional de Música do Algarve apresenta “Sinfonia Trágica” com a Orquestra da Extremadura pela batuta do seu maestro titular e diretor artístico, Álvaro Albiach, que viajam de Espanha para este festival. É de Schubert a sinfonia “Trágica” que dá nome a este espetáculo, a primeira das duas únicas sinfonias que o compositor escreveu no modo menor, tradicionalmente associado à ideia de tristeza. Kodály e as suas “Danças de Galanta”, baseadas numa publicação de cinco danças típicas da região de Galanta e de manifesta influência cigana nos seus ritmos e melodias, são a proposta seguinte do reportório que se completa com o “Concerto para Saxofone em Mi bemol maior, Op. 109”, uma obra de tipo romântico de Glazunov, que será interpretado pelo solista David Alonso. The FIMA – Festival Internacional de Música do Algarve presents “Tragic Symphony” with the Orquestra de Extremadura directed by its titular conductor and artistic director, Álvaro Albiach, who travels from Spain to the Algarve for this festival. Schubert signs the tragic symphony, which gives name to this concert, the first of the only two symphonies that the composer wrote in the minor key, traditionally associated with the idea of sadness. Kodály’s “Dances of Galanta”, based on a publication of five typical dances of the Galanta region that show a gypsy influence in their rhythms and melodies, is the following proposal for this concert’s repertoire, which is completed with the “Saxophone Concerto in E flat major, Op. 109”, a romantic piece by Glazunov that will be interpreted by the soloist David Alonso.
